Frances Creasy Mcalister

Frances Creasy McAlister, 85, of Gastonia, passed away December 19, 2017, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.
She was born January 29, 1932, in Bedford County, Virginia, daughter of the late Glennie Wilson Creasy.
Frances was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 9337. She was an active member of the ladies of the Moose Lodge #1536 and the UVA. She was a former member of the Eastern Star.
A funeral service will be held 11:00am Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.
The family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday, December 22, 2017, at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
Mrs. McAlister is survived by son, Carl O. McAlister and wife, Sandra Browning McAlister of Little River, SC; daughters, Joyce Krutzsch and husband, Ernest of Hanover, Maryland, Jeri McAlister -Dow and husband, Samuel of Rock Hill, SC, Janice Cross and husband, Randy of Gold Hill, NC; sister, Hilda Ashwell of Lynch Station, VA; two special grandchildren, Tuesday and Rozanna White and five more grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband Carl E. McAlister; brother, Harry Creasy; sisters, Jennie Flint, Dora Newton, Bertha Fulton, Stella Lawson.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
