Frances Whitesides Lionello

Frances Whitesides Lionello, 88, of Belmont, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born January 18, 1935, in Gaston County, NC, to the late William Henry and Lula Mae Lee Ballard.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Alexander Whitesides.

Frances is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Wesley Lionello; daughters, Linda Adams and Teresa Whitesides; grandchildren, Preston Wilson and wife Somer, Brandy Williams, Chad Robertson and wife Dana, and Jacquelyn "Jackie" Mazzolini and husband John; and many great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate the life of Frances, officiated by Pastor Michael Goins and Pastor Sammy Oxendine, will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 3:30 pm, at Life Church, 501 Cramer Mountain Rd., Cramerton, NC 28032.  The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Church Outreach Ministry, 501 Cramer Mountain Road, Cramerton, NC 28032.
