Frances Blanton Hendrix

Frances Blanton Hendrix, 73, of Gastonia, passed away December 1, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 1, 1945 in Gaston County, the daughter of the late Posey and Oveda Jackson Blanton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant children; sisters, Ruby Propst and Louise Haas; brother, Bobby Jackson; and brothers-in-law, Kenneth Wilson, Daniel Davidson and Buddy Haas.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Frank Hendrix; son, Jason Hendrix; sisters, Inez Wilson, Diane Davidson, and Freida Mull; several special nieces and nephews.
Frances was a member of First Assembly of God and was retired from Tyco.
A homegoing service, officiated by Rev. Dennis Boyce and Rev. Lamar Creel, will be held 2 pm Tuesday, December 4, at First Assembly of God, 777 S. Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
Memorials may be sent to First Assembly of God, 777 S. Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.
Interment will be in Westview Gardens.
