Frances O. Hampton, 92, of Gastonia, passed away March 31, 2015 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas. She was born May 14, 1922, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late John Bergen and Sarah Jane Owensby. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Thursday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
