Frances Lee Cowart

Frances Lee Cowart, 87, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at her residence.

She was born October 8, 1934, in SC, daughter of the late Allen Michael Brown and Eleanor Brown.

Frances was a member of Zion Baptist Church, Gastonia. She loved her fur babies, spending time with her family, and planting flowers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Ed Brown, Rob Brown, Bill Brown, Mack Brown; sister, Anne Bostic; sons, Billy Brown, and James Cowart; daughter, Marylyn Barrett; and grandson, Bradley Jones.

Frances is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Cowart and Stephanie; daughter, Lynn Jones; brother, Herb Brown; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services are to be scheduled at a later date.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
