Frances "Peggy" Bingham

Frances "Peggy" Bingham, 86, of Gastonia, passed away April 13, 2016 at Meadowwood Nursing Center.

She was born April 6, 1930 in Monroe, NC, the daughter of the late Curtis and Laura Broome.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving son, Allan Bingham and wife Sheri; grandchildren Lily Bingham and Dean Nanney and wife Amy and great-grandchildren Conner and Ciara Nanney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Bingham; daughter Cathy Bingham Martin and grandson Joshua Martin.

A funeral service officiated by the Rev. Jerry Millwood will be held 3 pm Sunday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends 2 – 2:45 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
