Fran Ashe Phillips

Fran Ashe Phillips, 62, of Gastonia, NC went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on January 21, 2023.

Fran enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, gardening and loved being of service to children in need. After retiring from 21 years of textiles, Fran hit the road with her beloved husband, traveling cross country as a truck driving team. After a couple of years, she moved on to opening a cleaning business and becoming a head bus driver for Gaston County Schools.

She is preceded in death by her father Carmel Ashe, brother Doug, and sister Debbie.

She is survived by Dennis, her loving husband of 45 years. Sons, Dayton (Sarah) and Coty (Ashley). Grandchildren: Tyler, Cass, Addley and Felicity.  Her mother Grace Ashe, sisters, Lynn Melton, Angie Maceachern, Tammy Berryhill, and brother Scott Ashe.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life that will be held 4pm, Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
