Forrest Daniel Thompson, 51, of Bessemer City, passed away on November 4, 2013 at his home. He was born August 24, 1962 in Gaston County, son of the late Robert Edward Thompson and Betty McCoullough Thompson. All services will be private. Mr. Thompson is survived by: son, Justin Daniel Thompson; sisters, Bobbie Lou Thompson Short of Utah, Tammy Thompson Morgenstern of South Dakota, Lisa Thompson Ellis of Raleigh; sister in-law, Peppi Mixon of Bessemer City; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: brothers, Robert Terrell Thompson and Ralph Edward Thompson.
