Floyd Billy Brooks Jr. 69, a native of Gastonia, NC, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022, at his residence.

He was born July 16, 1953, to the late Floyd B. Brooks Sr. and Barbara Bradley Brooks.

Billy was a veteran of the United States Air force. He was an honorary member of the Royal Priesthood Biker Church in Shelby where he was also an Honorary Chaplain.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy, infant son, Joseph Brooks, brothers, Danny Lee Brooks, Ricky Brooks, and sister, Ronda Holland.

Billy is survived by his brother, David S. Brooks and wife Marilyn, sisters, Deborah B. Langford, and husband Coleman Van, Barbara Brooks Bradley, Margaret Beaty, JoAnn B. Lee and husband Robert, special friends, Kathy Harmon, and Bruce Cleary.

A graveside service officiated by Pastor Johnny Norris, will be held, Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church, 210 Long Creek Church Road, Dallas, NC 28034.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is serving the Brooks family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the:  Royal Priesthood Motorcycle Ministry, 2055 Shelby Rd., Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
