Flotella Laws Tilley

Ranlo, NC Flotella Laws Tilley, 87, passed away September 13, 2012, at her home.

She was born May 21, 1925 in Newport, TN, daughter of the late L.D. and Nancy Ann Laws.

Mrs. Tilley was retired from Victory Mill, Gastonia.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm on Saturday at Ranlo Free Will Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Mike Wilson and Rev. Jason Carson.

The family will receive friends 6:30 - 8:30 on Friday at the church. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.

She is sruvived by: sons, Bill Tilley and wife, Dale, Michael "Tiny" Tilley; daughters, Shirley Walker and husband, Jerry, Judy Waters and husband, Ronnie, Darlene Wall; brother, Ed Laws; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, Willie Tilley; grandson, Gary Hale; great great grandson, Eli McKay.

Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P. O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
