Florence Henderson Moss

Cramerton, NC –

Florence Henderson Moss, 87, a resident of Carillion of Cramer Mountain passed away peacefully on June 7, 2018 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

She was born September 12, 1930 in Cherokee County, SC, the daughter of the late Lonnie Henderson and Grace Bell Henderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Moss; nine brothers; Boyce, Dub, Lewis, Don, Emmett, Ambers, Dean, Elbert and Lawrence; and one sister, Irene Granger.

Left to cherish her memories includes a son, Joe Moss of Charlotte; daughter, Kathy Moore of Mount Holly; sister, Ruby Dixon of Clover, South Carolina; grandchildren, Jonathan Moore and wife Crystal, and April Moore; great grandchildren, Bailey, Olivia, Jackson, Joshua and Katelyn.

A graveside service will be conducted at Gaston Memorial Park on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm with the Reverend Jonathan Shellor officiating.  Family and friends will be received 30 minutes prior to the service at the Mausoleum.

Florence will be greatly missed by her family, who would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Carillon Assisted Living and Hospice of Gaston County who always treated her with compassion and dignity.
