Florence Lunsford

Florence Pheba Lunsford, 93, of Kings Mountain, passed away December 9, 2013, at her residence. She was born November 18, 1920 in Macon County to the late Erman and Claudia Morgan. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Timmy Whittaker. The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 pm prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, NC. She is survived by her sons: Grady Lunsford and wife, Syble, Mutt Lunsford and wife, Lorena, Michael Lunsford and wife, Brenda; daughters: Joann Bolynn and husband LD, Odessa Crowe and husband, Tommy, Teresa Lunsford; brother, George Morgan; sister, Marie Lingerfelt; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Lunsford and son, David Laws. Memorials may be made to Cleveland County Hospice - 951 Wendover Height Dr. Shelby, NC 28150
