Florence "Taffy" Humes

Florence "Taffy" Humes, 86, of Blacksburg, passed away January 7, 2015 at Peachtree Centre. She was born February 16, 1928 in Jefferson County, KY, daughter of the late, Ernest Galloway and Florence Ethel Woodfield. A funeral service will be held 6 pm Sunday at Living Word Tabernacle Church - 4432 Kings Mountain Highway, Bessemer City, officiated by the Rev. John Humes. Visitation will be 3 - 6 pm Sunday prior to the service at the church. Interment will be 3 pm Monday at Shady Lawn Memory Gardens, Kentucky. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
