It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fearlee "Faye" Drumm, a beloved mother, grandmother and friend, who left us on April 6, 2026. Faye was born on September 30, 1935, in Florence, South Carolina and spent her later years in Bessemer City, North Carolina.
Faye was a homemaker first and foremost, dedicating her life to her family and the nurturing of a warm home, where love and laughter flourished. She cherished her children, Bobbie Mills, Randy Drumm (Terrie) and Tammy Hooper (Donnie); grandchildren, Scott Woods and Tiffany Picklesimer (Micheal); great granddaughter, Finlee Picklesimer, who will always cherish her memory.
A devoted member of Victory Hill Baptist Church in Dallas, NC, Faye found joy in serving others, particularly in the nursery, where she cared for little ones with love and kindness until she became homebound. She had a special knack for planting beautiful vegetable and flower gardens, filling her life and the lives of those around her with color and nourishment.
Friends and family are invited to join us for visitation at the mausoleum of Gaston Memorial Park on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:30 AM. A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Dennis Gomez, will follow at 11:00 AM, where we will come together to celebrate Faye's life and the love she shared with so many.
Though she may be gone, Faye's spirit will live on in our hearts and memories. Rest in peace, dear Faye. You will be missed more than words can say.
Faye was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Dean Drumm; parents, Joseph and Gladys Altman; siblings, Jimmy Altman, Alice Eason and Elizabeth Patel.
The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is honored to serve the Drumm family. Condolences and memories may be shared online at: www.greenefuneral.com.
