Fayette Blalock Ormand

Fayette Blalock Ormand, 80, of Kings Mountain passed away March 7, 2013 at Carolina Care Center , Cherryville. She was born June 10, 1932 in Cleveland County daughter of the late Royal Clyde Blalock and Annie Belle Blalock. Mrs.Ormand was a member of Long Creek Presbyterian Church, Kings Mountain. A funeral service will be held 3:30 pm on Sunday, March 10 at Long Creek Presbyterian Church,, Kings Mountain officiated by Rev. Dee Liss. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 3:30 pm on Sunday,at the church in the fellowship hall. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Mrs. Ormand is survived by: son, Mike Ormand of Kings Mountain; daughters, Sandy Homesley and husband Sam of Cherryville, Vicky Franklin and husband Rick of Kings Mountain; sister Lauris Wray of Shelby, Mary Parker Whitesides of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Paige Berry, Richie Franklin and wife Allison, Brent Homesley, Michael Franklin, April Ormand; great grandchildren, Taylor Berry, Ava Franklin, Townes Franklin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, Dorus "Bill" Ormand; sisters, Ruby, Ella Mae, Millie, Alma; brother, Roy.
