Faye A. Welch

Faye A. Welch, 81, formerly of Gastonia, passed away April 9, 2015, in Linwood, NC. She was born October 27, 1933, in Gaston County, son of the late Robert and Pearl Holt Andrews. Faye was a very loving mother and grandmother, who adored her family and will be deeply missed by them all. She was a very active member of Zion Baptist Church in Gastonia for many years and was retired from Ti-Caro, Inc. Left to cherish her memories are her sons; Tony L. Welch of Gastonia, Danny Ray Welch of Waco and David "Cotton" Welch and wife Sue of Gastonia; daughter, Sandy Rohring and husband Bobby of Florida; sister, Evelyn Williams and husband Earl, Jr. of Linwood, NC six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A celebration of Faye's life will be held 3:30 pm on Monday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd. Gastonia, officiating Pastor Leo Kuykendall. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2:30 - 3:15 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park.
