Faye Huffstetler Ross

Faye Huffstetler Ross. 97, of Kings Mountain, passed away on September 3, 2020, at Atrium Health Cleveland, Shelby.

She was born May 7, 1923, in Cleveland County, daughter of the late Fife and Vera Huffstetler.

She was a member of Westover Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.

Mrs. Ross was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who deeply loved her family. She enjoyed birdwatching, crafts, quilting, reading, and traveling, especially going to see the lighthouses on the coast.

A funeral service will be held 10:30 am September 8, 2020, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Chris Wilson.

The family will receive friends 9:30 – 10:30 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain.

Mrs. Ross is survived by her sons, Ronnie Ross and wife Debbie, Roger Ross and wife Cynthia, Josh Ross; daughter, Cory Ross; grandchildren, Ty Ross and wife Paige, Andy Ross and fiancée Amanda; great-grandchildren, Georgia and Laney Ross. The family would like to recognize close friends Lib Wilson, Betty Hughes, and Linda Bunch and her niece Nell Randall and husband Ken.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, John Anderson Ross; son, Jeffrey Ross; one brother; six sisters.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
