Faye Ray Queen, 90, of Gastonia, passed away on May 1, 2016, at Gastonia Care and Rehabilitation Center, Gastonia.
She was born April 24, 1926 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Bertha Sarvis Culp.
Mrs. Queen was a member of First Baptist Church of Bessemer City. She was retired from Wix Filters.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Gastonia Care and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care they provided Mrs. Queen.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Westview Gardens, 1123 Edgewood Rd. Bessemer City, officiated by Pastor Tom Ravan.
The family will receive friends 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.
Mrs. Queen is survived by her son, Mark Ray and wife Janet; daughter, Donna Robinson; grandchildren, Jason Robinson, Eric and Allison Ray.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by husbands, Robert Eugene Ray and Billy Queen; sister, Verdie Mullinax.
