Faye Bumgardner Mcfee

Faye Bumgardner McFee, 85, went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born November 13, 1939, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Roebling Bumgardner and Roma Della Dickerson Bumgardner.

Faye was a member of First Wesleyan Church in Bessemer City.

She enjoyed going to gospel singings with her friends, but most of all she loved spending time with her beloved family.

The family will receive friends 6-8pm Friday, April 11, 2025, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia.

A funeral service will be held 11:30 am Saturday, April 12, 2025, at First Wesleyan Church 510 East Alabama Avenue Bessemer City, officiated by Pastor Matt Mitchell.

The burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.

Faye is survived by her sons, Kevin McFee (Linda), Keith McFee (Phyllis), Marvin McFee; brother, Donald Bumgardner (Barbara); grandchildren, Melissa Guy (Josh), Brandon McFee (Susan), Leah Spolowitz (Kyle), Jason McFee, Rebecca McFee, Brianna Greene; great-grandchildren, Clarece Guy, Ethan Guy, Connor Guy, Bentley Blalock, Brayden McFee, Levi Spolowitz, John Spolowitz, Abigail Spolowitz, Santel Coulter, Caleb Greene, Lily Greene, Jameson Owens.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny McFee; son, Christopher Lamar McFee; brothers, James and Ronald Bumgardner; sister, Evelyn Best.
