Faith Marie Taylor

Faith Marie Taylor, 88, of Dallas, NC, passed away, Friday, February 12, 2021 at her residence.

She was born February 8, 1933 in Jefferson Co, NY, daughter of the late Milton Roof and Aletha James Roof.

Faith was a member and nursey worker at West Franklin Baptist Church, Gastonia, where she helped and served everyone. She was a devout Christian and a loyal servant to God, family, friends and strangers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Roof; and grandson, Matthew Brown.

Faith is survived by her children, Deborah Brown and husband, Allen, Lenea Stein, Cindy Taylor Terry and husband, Christopher, Allen Taylor and James Taylor; grandchildren, Kimberly Brown, Jessica Nicole Brown, Kasey Jordan, Austin Taylor, Zachariah Stein, Jennifer Stein, Devin Bowen Horn, Katelyn Bowen, and Amber Terry Weisgerber; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service officiated by Rev. Jeff Williams, will be held 2pm on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at West Franklin Baptist Church - 450 S Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be held at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
