Evelyn Andrews Williams

Evelyn Andrews Williams, 88, of Gastonia, passed away at home with her family on Saturday January 2, 2021.

Born March 16, 1932 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Robert and Molly Andrews.

She was a member of Zion Baptist Church and served as Sunday School teacher, youth director, and homecoming director and retired from American and Efird Mills.

She is preceded in death by husbands, Joe "Bully" Williams and Earl Williams; sons, Grady and Doug; grandson, Blair; granddaughter, Doree; daughter in law, Teresa; brothers, Homer and Marshall; and sister, Faye Welch.

She is survived by sons, Joe (Joy), Kenny (Anita) and Tim (Lori) Williams; nine grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

A service for Mrs. Williams will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Zion Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Leo Kuykendall. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service.
