Evelyn Etters Tyler

Evelyn Etters Tyler, 81, of Bessemer City passed away October 25, 2013 at her home. She was born July 14, 1932 in Cleveland County, daughter of the late John William and Ardella Harmon Etters. A graveside service will be held 4:00 pm Saturday October 26, 2013 at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain officiated by Rev. Ron Caulder. Mrs. Tyler attended Eastside Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. She is survived by: her fiancé Paul Biddy; brothers, Lawrence Etters and companion Teresa Falls, Walter Etters and companion Brenda Wright; sisters, Martha Jackson, Dorothy Lane and husband Teddy; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by: her husband, Joe Lee Tyler; brothers, Theodore, Andrew, and Bob Etters. Memorials may be made to Lincoln County Hospice, 107 N Cedar St Lincolnton, NC 28092. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
