Evelyn Pruitt, 86, of Belmont, passed away December 17, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 22, 1936 in Cherokee County, SC, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Ella Mae Elliott.

Left to cherish her memories are her son Bobby Pruitt; daughter Helen McGaha; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-greatgrandchild.

A private service was held Thursday, December 22, 2016.

Arrangements were with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
