Evelyn Mashburn Linder

Evelyn Mashburn Linder, 72, of Gastonia, passed away on April 28, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born March 6, 1943 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Earl Mashburn and Beulah Bradshaw Mashburn. Mrs. Linder was a member of True Gospel Holiness Church, Kings Mountain. She enjoyed playing the piano and deeply loved her family. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Evangelist Larry E. Linder. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8: 00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. Mrs. Linder is survived by her loving husband of over 27 years, Evangelist Larry E. Linder; son, Anthony Linder; daughters, Tonya Hatley and husband Roger, Dayna Wilson - Burris; grandchildren, Ashley and J.D. Ferguson, Candi and Kayla Jacobs, Jimmy Wilds; three great - grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by son, Stanley Esteen Wilds; brother, Howard Mashburn. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
