Evelyn Anderson Jenkins

Evelyn Anderson Jenkins, 84, of Gastonia, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017, at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.
She was born June 18, 1933, in Cherokee County, daughter of the late Edward Anderson and Bonnie Stiles Anderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jenkins; son, Charles Edwards Jenkins "Eddie"; stepfather, Floyd "Pop" Stiles; brothers, Jack Anderson, Cecil Anderson, Little Buddy; and sister, Mildred Smith.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Keith Jenkins, Donnie Jenkins and spouse, Sharon, Allan Jenkins and spouse, Deborah; daughter-in-law, Vickie Jenkins; stepsister, Regina Blanton; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Jerry Millwood, will be held 2pm on Tuesday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd. Gastonia.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park.
