Eva Mae Rabb

CRAMERTON -- Eva Mae Rabb, 95, passed away July 26, 2013 at Alexandria Place, Gastonia. She was born April 25, 1918 in Gaston County, daughter of Clarence and Fuller Harris Ledwell. She was a member Bethel Baptist Church in Gastonia. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052, officiated by Rev. James Drennen. The family will receive friends from noon until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Alexandria Place for the wonderful care of their mother. Mrs. Rabb is survived by her son, Max A. Rabb and wife Nancy of Gastonia; daughter, Kay Hill of Florida; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, W.A. "Sparkie" Rabb; brother, Hoyle Ledwell; sisters, Dorothy McCrary, Tula Ellis, Sylvia Williams.
