Eugene Moss Jr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eugene Moss Jr., a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, on May 31, 2026. He was born on March 11, 1969, in South Carolina.

He cherished the simple joys of life; the thrill of casting a line during fishing trips, he loved having cookouts with family and friends, and the joy of sharing lively stories in the company of loved ones. He had an unwavering loyalty as a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. A true lover of animals, Eugene shared his home with his beloved dogs, India and Bullet, who brought him immense joy and companionship as well as many other dogs.

Eugene leaves behind his cherished mother, Sarah Thomas; daughters, Yasmin, Faith, Siresse, and Amber Moss; brothers, Derek Biggers, Carlos Biggers; sisters, Sharon Moss, Gena Moss, Kayla Wright; 8 grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; a host of aunts and uncles.

Eugene was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Moss Sr; brother, Gerald Kendrick; grandparents, John Henry and Annie Kendrick, Laura and Sammy Davis, William Moss.

A memorial service for Eugene Moss Jr. will be held at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S York Rd Gastonia, NC 28052 on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM.

Rest in peace, Eugene. Your light will forever illuminate the hearts of those you loved, and your joyous spirit will remain with us always.
