Ethel Gilreath Coleman, 85, went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 11, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was a loving, caring, God fearing, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Ethel was born to Marie and Walter Gilreath on January 7, 1938. Ethel was a very bright, loving, and beautiful woman. She met and married the love of her life, Kenneth Ray Coleman. Together they had one son, William B. Coleman (known as Bill or Billy to many). She had three wonderful, smart, and talented grandchildren and seven wonderful and talented great-grandchildren. Ethel and Kenneth had 55 years of marriage together.
Ethel loved God with her entire soul, and to sing with her sisters Elaine and Betty. They were known as the Gilreath Sisters. They would sing in churches, at funerals, or wherever they were needed. Ethel also loved her family and watching her grandchildren grow up, and then watching after her great-grandchildren. Ethel had a loving and kind spirit like no other. She welcomed you into her home, cooked the most delicious meals, cakes, and pies (which will be greatly missed). Ethel will be greatly missed by so many, and greatly welcomed in Heaven by so many,
