Esther M. Patterson

Esther M. Patterson, 89, of Gastonia passed away January 7, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care, Gastonia. She was born October 17, 1923 in Huntington Beach, CA daughter of the late Andrew Long and Trula Dail Long. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Jerry Millwood. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 3:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Mrs. Patterson is survived by: sisters, Mary Helen and Ruby of Tennessee; daughters in-law, Mimi Cagle of Maryland, Esthelene Cagle of the home; grandchildren, Amy Morgan and husband Mike, Julie Cagle, Billy W. Cagle II; great grandchildren, Shane, Rhiannon, Emily, Seth , Kendall. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, William K. Patterson; sons, Ronald K. Cagle, Billy W.
