Ernest Flay Huffstetler

Ernest Flay Huffstetler, 71, of Kings Mountain passed away on April 5, 2015 at the Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born July 8, 1943 in Gaston County, son of the late Flay Huffstetler and Viola Dellinger Huffstetler. Mr. Huffstetler was a member of Cherokee Street Baptist Church, Kings Mountain. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at Greene Funeral Service, West chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastors Roger Green and Herman Green. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain. Mr. Huffstetler is survived by, his loving wife, Bonnie Bumgardner Huffstetler; daughter, Cheryl Cook and son-in-law, Richard; two granddaughters; brothers, Floyd and Gene Huffstetler; sisters, Alta Hardin, Brenda Irvin, Betty Husky, Melvine Parton; special niece, Rosemary Queen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by, brother, Dennis Huffstetler; sister, Martha Young. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of Cleveland County c/o Kings Mountain Hospice House 951 Wendover Heights Dr. Shelby, NC 28150. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
