Erin Helen Kirkman, 45, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, in Gastonia, NC.

She was born November 29, 1976, in Mecklenburg Co, NC, daughter of Michael Douglas Kirkman and Marsha Wright Kirkman.

Erin loved to play softball and basketball. She had an outgoing personality and loved arts of all types.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Parker Douglas Johnson; daughters, Hayley Nicole Johnson, and Sarah Elizabeth Hammond; brothers, Todd Parker, and Scott Parker; and sisters, Jennifer Smith, Heather Kirkman, and Kelly Parker.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Dickie Spargo, will be held 3pm on Friday, June 24, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
