Epifania Welch

Epifania "Fanie" Welch, 55, of Stanley, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 18, 2018 at her residence.
She was born January 6, 1963 in Sagay City, Negros Occidental in the Philippines, daughter of the late, Jose Rivera Tupas and Maria Perez Tupas.
Fanie was a member at North Gaston Church of God in Dallas. She loved doing missionary work in the Philippines, even if she was not there, she would always send things for families in need. Fanie never met a stranger and always put others first. She always had a smile on her face, even on the bad days and loved her family tremendously and will forever be missed by her loved ones.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steven Welch; sons, Victor Arnaiz and wife Charisse Hope, Joshua Arnaiz and Joseph Arnaiz; daughters, Melissa Welch and Kimberly and husband Bobby; brothers and sisters, Agatha, Cecilia, Indny, Epa, Eva, Carmelo, Jessie and Tony; grandchildren, Chesnee, Sierra, Victoria and Devyn; and numerous special friends at church.
A visitation will be held 5:30-7:00 on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at North Gaston Church of God – 1310 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy., Dallas, NC 28034.
A funeral service will be at 7:00 at the church.
Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Gaston Hospice – P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
