Emma Marie Hutto

Marie Emma Hutto, 93, of Charlotte, went home to be with her Lord on January 11, 2013. Marie was born in Allen Station, NC on March 8, 1919, daughter of the late William & Daisy Hagler Helms. Marie was a beloved wife of 54 years to the late Frank Hutto and a devoted mother to 8 children. She is survived by her children, Shirley Scism of Belmont, Donnie (& Sandy) Hutto of Huntersville, Carol (& Erich) Liner of Belmont, Phyllis (&Harry) Rogers of Charlotte, Linda (& Brad) Greenberg of Charlotte and Elaine Bootsie' (& Buddy) Hawkins of Belmont. She was preceded in death by two children, Geneva Elizabeth Hutto and Thelma Joyce Hutto. She was loved by so many, but especially her 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren. On Monday, January 14, 2014, the family will receive family & friends from 10 am to 11:00 am, followed by a service to celebrate her life at Hope Community Baptist Church on 3205 Sam Wilson Road in Charlotte with Pastor Michael Snyder officiating.
