Elsie Zirkle Ruff

Elsie Zirkle Ruff, 85, of Cramerton, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Terra Bella in Cramerton.

She was born in York County South Carolina to the late Will and Bertha Zirkle.

Elsie loved God, her family, and her country.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Memory Care at Terra Bella at Cramer Mountain, and Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte region.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ruff; sisters, Hazel Jones, Geraldine Sipes; brothers, Lewis, Sam, and Bob Zirkle.

Elsie is survived by her daughter, Lynn Johnson (Mark); brother, Johnny Zirkle; sister, Virgie Vinson; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service officiated by Brother Mark Johnson, will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, at 12:30 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC 28052

Visitation will be 11:30 – 12:30 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
