Ellyn Guthrie

Ellyn Guthrie, 89, of Gastonia, passed away February 2, 2015 at Robin Johnson House. She was born January 23, 1926, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late M.D. Caldwell, Sr. and Ethel Caldwell. Ellyn is survived by her son, Wallace "Wally" Guthrie, Jr. of the home. A graveside service will be held 11 am Friday at Gaston Memorial Park- 1200 S. New Hope Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
