Ellwane Williams

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ellwane Williams, who left us peacefully on March 15, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on December 19, 1941, in Bryson City, NC, to the late Kelly and Leah Herron.

Ellwane cherished her family above all else and leaves behind her beloved sons, Ronnie Ramey (Tracy), Eddie Malcolm (Marie), her daughter, Patricia Degree (John); siblings, Sandra, Brenda, Richard, Curly, Lonnie; numerous nieces and nephews. Their hearts are filled with both sorrow and gratitude for the wonderful memories they shared with her.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughters, Deborah Malcolm ad Ashley Malcolm; brothers, Randy Herron, Clifford Herron and Howard "Harry" Herron.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Ellwane's life during a visitation that will take place on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia.
