Ellen Swanson Reid, 71, of Stanley, passed away June 15, 2016 at Glen Oaks Health & Rehabilitation in Shelbyville, Tennessee.
She was born February 26, 1945 in Polk County, TN, the daughter of Elwood Swanson and Olivia Jones Swanson.
A graveside service will be held 2 pm Thursday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Mt. Holly.
The family will receive friends 12:30 – 1:30 pm prior to the service at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
