Ellen Morrison, 83, of Kings Mountain, passed away on June 8, 2018, at her home.
She was born September 17, 1934, in McDowell County, daughter of the late Virgil and Ethel Davis.
Mrs. Morrison was a member of Family Worship Center of Kings Mountain.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Family Worship Center, 1818 Shelby Road, Kings Mountain.
The family will receive friends 6-8pm Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.
Burial will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
Mrs. Morrison is survived by son, Phillip Morrison; daughters Julie Morrison and Pam Morrison; brother, Kenneth Davis; sister, Betty Davis; twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Melvin Morrsion; son, Ricky Morrison; daughter, Donna Spriggs; brothers, Jack, Paul, John, Bill and Bobby Davis; sister, Ruby Effler, Edna Carroll.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
