Ellen Brewer Long

Ellen Brewer Long, 68, of Dallas, passed away April 9, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born February 26, 1950, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of Giles Benjamin Brewer and the late Pauline Sue Rudisill.

Survivors include son Chris Long and wife Amanda; brothers Roger and Rickie Brewer; sisters Barbara Cobb and Dottie Martin; grandchildren 7 and 4 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 3 pm Friday at Puetts United Methodist Church, 3009 Puetts Chapel Road, Dallas.

Visitation will be 1:45 – 2:45 pm prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
