Elizabeth "Libby" Frady

Elizabeth "Libby" Frady, 66, of Gastonia, NC, passed away June 8, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

She was born September 6, 1957, in Gaston County, NC, to the late William "Bill" and Vassie Goodson Finger.

Libby was a very kind and giving person.  She was selfless, and a very loving mother.  Purple was her favorite color.  Everyone who attends her service is requested to wear purple.

In addition to her parents, Libby was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Finger.

Libby is survived by the father of her children, Ron Frady; her children, Mandy Cooke and husband Ken, and Jared Frady and wife Dana; grandchildren, Kristin McKinney and husband Dylan, Kenny Cooke and fiancé Lucia, Hailey Frady, Alexis High and husband Logan, and Tory Hilton and husband Josh ; great-grandchildren, Piper McKinney, Layla McKinney, Marley McKinney, Jonathan Morrison, David Morrison, Wesson High, and Georgia High; and sisters, Wanda Williams and husband Bruce, and Anita Shipman.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 13, 2024, 2:00 – 3:00 pm at Finish Line Christian Center, 108 N. Main St., Mount Holly, NC 28120.  A service to celebrate the life of Libby, officiated by Pastor Shannon Williams, will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Finish Line Christian Center, 108 N. Main St., Mount Holly, NC 28120.  Interment will follow the service at Westview Gardens, 1123 Edgewood Rd., Bessemer City, NC 28016.
