Elizabeth Ann Carpenter, 86, passed away on October 1, 2019 at Peak Resources.
She was born on July 8, 1933, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Marvin Guy Ruppe and Gertrude Honeycutt Ruppe.
Elizabeth is survived by her nephew, Mike and Katie Angley; niece, Sherry and David Turner; 1 great-niece; 4 great-nephews; 4 great-great-nieces; and 3 great-great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elzie; sister, Nancy Quinn; and nephew, Jerry Lynn Angley.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, October 4, 2019 at South Gastonia Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church, 550 Neal Hawkins Road, Gastonia, NC 28056, with Pastor Elvis Anderson officiating.
The family will receive friends 1 – 2 pm prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be in Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.
