Elizabeth Libby Bingham

Elizabeth "Libby" Bingham, 68, of Sharon, SC, passed away January 26, 2013 at Gaston Memorial Hospital, GAstonia. She was born October 12, 1944 in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Jetrho Dewey Long and Nellie Lutz Lawing. A service to celebrate her life will be hels 3:00 pm Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052, officiated by Revs. Terry James Gibson and David Stewart. The family will recieve friends from 6:00- 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, who never a stranger. Also she was a member of Seventh Ave Baptist Church in Gastonia. Mrs. Bingham is survived by: her loving husband of 49 years, Fred "Bud" Bingham; daughter, Joyce "Joy" Robinson and spouse Terry of Carolina Beach; sister, June L. Hollifield of Gastonia; grandchildren, Allen and Buddy Davis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: her step father, Paul A. Lawing; son, Paul "Bud" Bingham.
