Elizabeth Barnes

Elizabeth Rhyne Barnes, 88, of Gastonia, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born November 17, 1928, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Leonard Oskar Rhyne and Alice Beatty Rhyne.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastors Dennis Boyce and Lamar Creel, will be held 3pm onTuesday, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd. Gastonia.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
