Elise Heffner Hayes

Elise Heffner Hayes, 75, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC.

She was born June 2, 1946, in Gaston Co, NC, daughter of the late Cecil Heffner and Ellen Robinson Heffner.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, James Hayes; brothers, Boyd Heffner, Jake Heffner; and grandsons, Brandon Hayes, and Ryan Hayes.

Elise is survived by her sons, Tommy Hayes and wife, Cindy, Aron Hayes and wife, Sissy, and Matt Hayes and wife, Margaret; daughter, Donna Quick and husband, Scott; brothers, Joe Heffner and wife, Sue, and David Heffner and, Susan; grandchildren, Daniel Lowery and wife, Brittany, Glen Lowery and wife, Amanda, Justin Hayes, Katilyn Quick, Kaleb Hayes and, Haley, Hope Micik and husband, Mike, Andrew Quick, Nathan Falls, and Emma Quick; and great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Gibson, Noah Lowery, Nolan Gupta, Lucas Lowery, Mackenzie Glawson, and McKenna Lowery.

Family will receive friends 5-7pm on Sunday, March 13, 2022, South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Chris Doster, will be held 2pm on Monday, at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the service at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, NC.
