Elisa Whitman

Elisa Whitman, 54, of Gastonia, NC, passed away, Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her residence.

She was born January 12, 1967 in Cleveland Co, NC, daughter of Sarah Lanning Burnett and the late James Phillip Shaw Jr.

Elisa was a loving mother. She loved the spring and animals, including her dogs and cats.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepfather, Ken Burnett; daughters, Amanda Lopez (Eloy) and Tiffany Jones; sons, Mark Jones Jr. (Amanda) and Randall Jones (Brittani); sister, Denise Truett; brothers, Shane Shaw and Jim Shaw; and 11 grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
