Elaine Champion Williams

Elaine Champion Williams, 54, of Taylorsville, passed away October 1, 2015, at Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory. She was born February 9, 1961, in Gaston County, daughter of James and Hazel Westmoreland Champion of Bessemer City. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by the Revs. William "Bill" Wooten and Lamar Boulware. The family will receive friends 1:00 -2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. In addition to her parents she is survived by daughter, Brandy Dockery of Gastonia; son, Charlie Dockery and wife Carmen of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Karvello Hall and Devine Mangrum; sisters, Melody Todd , Rosita Shirley. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
