Elaine Sipe Seter

Elaine Sipe Seter, 71, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. Elaine was born in Cleveland County on May 26, 1941 to the late Arthur Sipe and Grace Collins Holcomb. She was a loving, giving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She was a member of New Vision Baptist Fellowship where she previouly served as an Awanas leader. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service West Chapel 216 Archie Whitesdies Rd. Gastonia, with Pastor Carl Hamm officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 -2 pm prior to the service and other times at the home 2041 South Point Rd. Belmont. Memorials may be made to New Vision Baptist Fellowship 4858 Grace Chapel Rd. Granite Falls, NC 28630. Elaine is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Chandler Rogers and husband Adam ,mother, Grace Holcomb, brother, Richard Sipe and wife Ginger, sisters, Barbara Cooper and husband Bill, Freida Bates and husband Lawrence, and Pam Weaver, grandchildren, Sarah and Rebecca, nieces, Sherrill, Sheila, Gayle, Kelly, Ricki and Heather, great nieces and nephews. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her step father, Bud Holcomb, brothers, Jimmy Sipe and Jerry Weaver, nephew, Roger Bates.
