Elaine Lay

Elaine Lay, 79, of Dallas, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, at home in Dallas, NC.

She was born on January 28, 1943, in Gaston County to the late Wilbur and Meril Mauney.

Left to cherish Mrs. Lay's memory are her loving sons, James Lay (Karen), Richard Lay (Donna), Jeff Lay (Connie); two brothers, three sisters, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one more on the way.

A graveside service for Elaine, officiated by Pastor Heath Honeycutt, will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 23, 2022, at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Dallas, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the organization of the doners choice, or to Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church – 210 Long Creek Church Rd., Dallas, NC, 28034
