Elaine Kitchen Hudson

Elaine Kitchen Hudson, 81, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026. A native of Gaston County, she was born on February 16, 1944 to the late William and Edna Kitchen.

Elaine loved animals. Especially her late fur babies, Baby Jake and Joey.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Hoffman, Ray Kitchen, Bill Kitchen Jr.

Elaine is survived by her brother Mike W. Kitchen (Pat); sisters, Doris Zeman (Robert), Carol Stroupe; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service officiated by, Reverend Dean Newkirk, will be held Monday, February 2, 2026, 12:00 pm, at Gaston Memorial Park.

Pallbearers: Zach Leech, Christian McDonald, Steven Massey, Garrett Hoyle, Steve Gates, Sean Leech.
