Edwina Franklin

Edwina Franklin, age 59, died in Cramerton, NC on September 14, 2022.

She was born in Brattleboro, VT and grew up in Guilford and Putney, VT.

She graduated from BUHS, Champlain College in Burlington, VT, and Husson College in South Portland, ME.  She loved God and her family above all else.

Edwina is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley, in 2004, and father, Wilfred, in 2018.

Edwina is survived by her brothers and their wives, Stanley and Holly, David and Mary Ellen, and Donald, and stepmother, Shirley.  She also leaves behind a niece, Jennifer; and nephews, Warren, John and wife Taylor, Neil, and Paul and wife Ryan; as well as great-nieces Charlotte and Maeve; and great-nephew Chander; aunts; uncles; and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 11:00 am, in the Chapel of First ARP Church, 317 South Chester Street, Gastonia, NC 28052.  The service will be officiated by Rev. Matt Kuiken and Rev. Dr. Jeff Morrison.

A service will be held at Atamaniuk Funeral Home, 40 Terrace Street, Brattleboro, VT 05301, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Guilford Volunteer Fire Department, 236 School Road, Guilford, VT, 05301.
